Like move the silverware drawer.
It's been a month now and I still go to the wrong drawer when I want a spoon. Is this what I have to look forward to in my old age? Unable to learn new behavior?
I heard somewhere you need to do something 21 times before it becomes 'normal'. (Do you know how many times I have gone to get some silverware since moving it to it's new location? Well, it's a heck of a lot more than twenty one times, I promise you.)
Actually, changing things is good sometimes. Shaking things up a bit keeps us thinking on our feet. Makes what was old new. Freshens our lives without spraying chemicals in the air.
But I have to tell you, it doesn't promote Harmony. The RGH is still miffed at me because he can't get a fork on the first try. Hey, it's exercise. Besides, the new location is more convenient. At least when we finally remember to go to the new location, it will be more convenient.
Next time I want to shake things up, I think I'll move the trash can. That's always a crowd pleaser.
Blessings,
Mary

This made me giggle...I think of all the times I've moved into a new place and I open every single drawer in the place to find my cheese grater or something. HEE HEE
